This site also offers to send advisory updates to you by email, and the bottom of their Wilma Page still has links to every State's Emergency Management Website (scroll down), where you can find information specific to each area, including weather, evacuation, road conditions and news sources.

Their update service is an experimental product of the National Weather Service. Has updates usually EVERY TWO MINUTES. Click the name of a state to view in standard web format (as opposed to RSS feed). The National Weather Service also provides a more visually interactive format. Click on a map of the US to get updates in your state, then on your state map for your zone.

Also has Preparing a Disaster Kit information geared for businesses and children. Especially helpful for children are interactive fun and games that teach them disaster preparedness.

This site contains advisories, press releases, flood insurance info and more. Has printable Surviving the Storm, A Guide to Hurricane Preparedness (PDF) as well as other printable brochures specific to flood preparation, winter storm, and wildfire preparation. Also has updated news releases.
